 Mac OS-based System Requirements
€ A PowerPC processor based Macintosh computer.
€ At least 16MB of RAM and 15Mb of free disk space
€ Mac OS 7.5.5 or later
(Note:  Mac users with 68020, 68030, or 68040 processor-based systems can install QuickTime 4.0.3 from Apple's QuickTime webpage.  These 68K systems may deliver reduced quality audio.)

€ A Pentium-based PC or compatible computer
€ At least 16MB of RAM and 15 Mb of free disk space
€ Windows 95/98/ NT/2000 system software
€ A Sound Blaster or compatible sound card and speakers
€ DirectX version 3.0 or later recommended
Install QuickTime 5
You must have an active connection to the Internet in order to complete the QuickTime software installation. Just follow the instructions on the web page and a self-installing QuickTime file will download to your hard drive. You must have an active connection to the Internet in order to complete the QuickTime software installation. Follow the step-by-step instructions on the Windows webpage and a QuickTime installer wizard will set up the necessary files on your hard drive.
To download the most recent version direct from Apple, click on one of the logos above.  This file is about 9Mb in size, and may require a lengthy download unless you are connected via high-speed internet.
